Experiment in manual HDR by merging images

So many fun pictures for this day. Despite being completely exhausted from no sleep, this was one of the year’s best days.

Across the street from LACMA (I was in the area for Miracle Mile Art Walk), this guy was doing some iPhone photography.

Behind the nearby Bevmo! the morning of its grand opening.

I was doing experiments using two polarizers are a variable neutral density filter, and I noticed when they get to the point of just about canceling each other out colors get weird. The sky became extra blue and the green leaves became purple. (taken out the window of my room)

Focus was the apparent blue shade of the light from the early morning sky vs the yellow-y color of the lamp.

um… lighting looked sorta cool in person ::shrug::

Due to me being pretty busy with work this month, expect lots of such pictures.

Took a picture of this to remind myself of the dates. I still forgot to go :/

The UCC tea cans are built very strong. I decided to keep one and I use it for storing paint bushes.

Jennifer and Noel visited after some shopping in FD and we ate at The Stand in Westwood.
